BranchPattern

Where legacy and purpose take root

A mission to build better
For BranchPattern, sustainability isn’t a buzzword—it’s their mission. Since 1991, this employee-owned team of engineers, architects, and building scientists has helped to deliver high-performing, people-focused buildings that drive down carbon emissions. Their work is shaping a cleaner, healthier future for more than 182,000 occupants and counting. But their old website? It didn’t tell that story. Outdated and uninspired, it failed to reflect their role as thought leaders driving the sustainability conversation.
An opportunity to lead
BranchPattern’s mission was too important to be lost in an ineffective user experience that confused audiences. To drive real change, they needed a digital presence that worked harder—one that could connect deeply with their audience. Antenna Group saw the opportunity to transform their website into a platform that bridged the gap between dense technical complexity and clear, engaging messaging designed to inform, inspire, and encourage action.

Uncovering the heart of the brand

Growing up in India with limited resources, founder Ravi Maniktala developed a deep understanding of humanity’s impact on the planet. His lifelong dedication to energy-efficient, human-centric design started in the 1970s and continues to inspire BranchPattern’s mission to this day. Ravi’s story made it clear to us that BranchPattern’s roots run deep. This redesign wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about sharing their heart and vision with the people who look to them for leadership and support in a complicated industry.

Building impactful connections, one click at a time

Transforming BranchPattern’s website meant creating a user experience that addressed pain points, guided visitors to solutions, and reflected their core values and vision. With this in mind, Antenna Group reimagined their digital presence to not only align with their real-world impact but also invite, inspire, and motivate audiences to build a more impactful connection. What followed was a strategy rooted in collaboration.

Phase 1—Discovery & strategy
More than research, this was a deep dive into their story. Together, we uncovered their strengths: decades of expertise, sustainability at the core, and a purpose-driven team. Our strategy was clear—lead with empathy, address user challenges, and deliver solutions that resonate with developers, designers, and sustainability-minded organizations alike.
Phase 2—Design & identity
BranchPattern’s mission was too important to be lost in an ineffective user experience that confused audiences. To drive real change, they needed a digital presence that worked harder—one that could connect deeply with their audience. Antenna Group saw the opportunity to transform their website into a platform that bridged the gap between dense technical complexity and clear, engaging messaging designed to inform, inspire, and encourage action.
Phase 3—Development & experience
Seamless navigation, tailored pathways, and a mobile-first approach created a digital experience that’s as intuitive as it is impactful—mirroring the clarity of their solutions. By focusing on clarity and accessibility, we ensured their digital presence supports their mission to create a more sustainable, high-performance built environment.

A platform for change, a movement for tomorrow

When the new site launched, it was a complete transformation. From bold visuals to user-friendly navigation, every element amplifies their role as sustainability pioneers, inspiring deeper engagement, exploration, and knowledge. This isn’t just a website—it’s their story brought to life. A powerful blend of expertise and culture, it positions them as leaders and activators, shaping the industry with every click. BranchPattern’s work defines the future of sustainable design, and their new website invites the industry to join them in creating a better tomorrow. With significant improvements across key metrics, it’s clear the content-driven strategy is resonating deeply with audiences and driving more meaningful engagement.

“Over the last five years, our business had evolved, but our messaging had not kept pace with these changes. In some ways, it felt as though we were experiencing success despite our website, and we imagined an outcome where our new website helped amplify our success. Misalignment between what our website stated and where we were experiencing business growth created confusion and hindered our ability to effectively communicate our value proposition. Antenna Group stepped in and provided the expertise we needed to realign our messaging with our current business goals.”
