In technology, transmission means communication by means of sent signals, or a system of meshing gears that transmit power from an engine. In Zen Buddhist tradition, transmission occurs when a disciple learns the master’s knack of directly experiencing existence.
The most elegant meaning is simply “the act of sending a message.” The message is essential to what we do at Antenna Group. There’s something magic and truly satisfying when story and audience resonate.
So, this is Antenna Transmission #1, frozen in time. Our aim is to share with you our lively engagement in tech industry communities, alertness to trends, and useful insight into important or intriguing issues. We’ll spotlight some interesting events ahead and won’t merely rave about events that are over (and you missed). On a good day, maybe we’ll even bring out a smile.
This isn’t a corporate megaphone so much as a creative channel for a lot of smart, connected people who genuinely like to write, when they can find the time. Expect an unrehearsed chorus of individual voices. As we build momentum and find our pace, many members of Antenna may transmit their ideas—there’s not a single person in the company whose views aren’t worth noting.
